Abstract
An inspection method of investigating stability of low order discrete data systems has been established. Sufficient criteria for stability of second, third and fourth order systems have been derived. The method is based on a new technique due to Tsilmigras for obtaining upper and lower bounds of the roots of polynomials with real coefficients.
