Abstract

This paper describes the analysis and theory of a new low frequency rejective RC-network and discusses its voltage transmission characteristics, phase characteristics and impedance characteristics under different conditions. The effect of load and source impedances on the voltage transmission characteristics and the design requirements are also described systematically.

Using this network in unbalanced condition, as a feedback element, different frequency selective amplifiers have been designed and it is found that experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Q-values of 500 or more are obtained at frequencies 390–780 c/s with a good degree of stability.
