Abstract

Recently, several techniques for precise and instantaneous measurement of pulsed RF signals have been described in the literature. While the conventional superheterodyne or electronically swept receiver is satisfactory for reception of a train of pulsed carriers, these are not quite suitable when only a few samples are available. One method of accurate frequency determination which requires very few pulses is described in this paper.
