Abstract
In this paper a reactance transistor circuit which can realize low Q inductance is analysed and procedure outlined to realize a given inductance with maximum Q. This reactance transistor when cascaded with another transistor in common collector configuration can realize a high, even infinite, Q inductance. A design procedure in terms of short circuit admittance parameters of transistors is outlined and an illustrative example worked out for the realization of infinite Q inductance from the cascade transistor arrangement.
