Abstract
In this paper a simple method for numeric display using a seven segment figure of eight is first discussed. Then a method for modifying this figure is presented. It has been shown that with this addition of a few logic blocks the more easily recognizable handwritten type numerals can be generated. The method can also be easily implemented with the help of Read Only Memories (ROM).
