Abstract
This paper deals with the contours of overshoot, damping factor, natural frequency, rise time, peak time and settling time of second order system in the parameter (b—c) plane. All these contours are governed by well-defined equations. The contour chart exhibits complete picture of the system, It is also useful in designing the system.
