Abstract

The various theories suggested on the design of stripline Y-junction circulators to date have been studied and a circulator has been designed on their basis. A quarter-wave transformer has been incorporated for impedance matching. Comparison of the results show that the minimum insertion loss is based on the property of the ferrite. Good impedance matching gives better bandwidth.
