Abstract
The paper discusses the use of binary logic variables in the digital analysis of SCR rectifier circuits. These variables, decided by the SCR logic modules, are used to get the generalised state equations. The digital analysis gives the transient response and the modes of operation of the circuits. Single phase and three phase bridge SCR circuits with an RLC load are studied and the computed results are presented.
