Abstract
The radiation field of a magnetic ring source surrounded by an inhomogeneous axially magnetized plasma column is studied. The method of analysis involves the technique of Fourier transform and contour integration for solution of the inhomogeneous wave equation. A parabolic plasma density profile is assumed.
