Characteristics of Parallel-plane Waveguide Filled with Homogeneous Lossy Anisotropic Plasma

Abstract

Effect of interaction between electrons and neutral particles on the phase and group refractive indices is considered for the propagation of electromagnetic waves through a uniaxial anisotropic plasma bounded by two perfectly conducting parallel planes. Collisions have been assumed to be independent of velocity of electrons. Group refractive index has also been analysed.
