Abstract
Circuit optimization and conservation of dc power are important problems in the miniaturization of electronic systems, particularly for aerospace applications. This paper describes a method of realizing these objectives with reference to code converters which are important in digital system development. The use of AND, OR, EX-OR gates, which do not use any external dc power, is the basis of this approach.
