Abstract
A new scheme of realizing an ideal inductor with operational amplifiers and RC elements is presented. The imperfections of the amplifiers however lead to the realization of a nonideal inductor, the utility of which is also considered. Pertinent discussions on circuit stability, parameter sensitivity and bandwidth limitations are appended.
