Abstract
This paper describes an electronic splash down programmer designed to initiate the chart drive and control of a calibrated sequence of operations encountered in bathythermographic applications. No calibration or adjustments are needed except for an “On-Off” Switch for the power supply. A novel approach of utilizing the conductivity of sea water is employed in the operation of the unit.
