Abstract
The design and development of a broadband microwave solid-state power amplifier has been described. The gain of the amplifier is 22.5 ± 1 dB over a band widh of 400 MHz in the frequency range of 1.7 GHz to 2.1 GHz. The minimum power output is +34.5 dBm and the harmonics and spurious output levels are at least 50 dB below the carrier frequency level.
