Abstract
Telemetric measurements have to be resorted to when an object is not directly accessible. The present paper describes a simple system for transmitting and monitoring the temperature information from such an object. Temperature transducer made of germanium thin film is used. PM-PAM system has been used in the transmitter for modulation. The meter display has been calibrated to directly read the temperature at the transducer surface in degrees centigrade.
