Abstract
The paper presents the design principles and development techniques of a multichannel multi band antenna for television reception. Known as IN-LINE ANTENNA, its special advantage over the ordinary wide band Yagi is that, it can be tuned to separate TV channels (or group of channels) located in different frequency bands. Two models, one for channel 4 (Band I) and channel 7 (Band III) and the other for channel 4 (Band I) and Channel 5 to 7 (Band III) have been developed. Test results are also reported.
