Coaxial-to-Microstrip Launchers for Microwave Integrated Circuits

Abstract

Various types of coaxial-to-microstrip launchers are tested experimentally on alumina and polystyrene substrates in S-band. It is found that the launcher OSM 244–4A could be used to test microwave integrated circuits made from various substrate thicknesses (10 mil-62.5 mil) and materials (2 ⩽ ϵ_r ⩽ 12).
