Abstract
The power transfer in a moving lossless warm magneto-plasma-filled waveguide has been studied theoretically. The existing modes in a waveguide are conveniently defined with respect to the direction of applied magnetic field. The results demonstrate that expression of power flow for TE modes (LMG) are independent of the movement of the plasma medium while for TM modes (LMG) and for TE and TM modes (TMG) they are modified depending on the drift velocity of the plasma medium. The results are compared with those of stationary warm plasma and relativistically moving temperate plasma waveguide.
