A Heuristic Controller Using an Adaptive Delta Modulator For Unknown Plants

Abstract

A simple heuristic controller is proposed which controls an unknown plant in a sub-optimal way and hence can replace the human controller in some situations like unmanned Space ships or nuclear reactors where system parameters are not known precisely. Its performance with different Systems is verified by computer simulation. The results are quite satisfactory.
