Abstract

A 4-stage 5-band hybrid MIC power amplifier using bipolar transistors is described. The amplifier provides 30 dB (min) gain and an output power of 10 W in the 4% bandwidth in S-band. The power-added efficiency of the amplifier is about 25%.
