Abstract

A mechanical or electronic fault in the transmitting channel of the solar system generally develops a constant tone-burst output which fed into the system for even a few seconds damages the rest of the system. A tone-burst controlled system protector has been designed wherein the constant output characteristic has been used to trigger a relay to trip the mains supply fed to the system within a second. The design of this system protector is described.
