Some Special-Purpose Comparator Circuits

Abstract

In some measurement and control problems, circuits for some signal-comparisons of complicated nature may be required. The paper describes simple and novel circuits for: (a) comparison between concurrent magnitudes of two signals, (6) window-comparison at a specified instant, and (c) comparison between time-dispersed magnitudes of two signals. The circuits use differential-input single-ended-output operational amplifiers.
