Abstract

This paper describes the development of an S-Band multiplexer having three non-contiguous narrow-band channels. The multiplexer is meant for separating the two types of data, that is, from multi-Spectral Scanner and Return Beam Vidicon Sensors, and also Unified S-Band Channel for tracking purposes. These signals are received from a Landsat satellite by an earth station established in India. The frequency bands of the channels are 2229.5±10 MHz, 2265.50± 10 MHz and 2287.5±2.5 MHz. Measured results of the complete multiplexer including group-delay and the effect of temperature are presented in this paper.
