R. Chatterjee
Prof. (Mrs.) R. Chatterjee (Dr.): Mrs. Chatterjee is at present professor in the ECE Deptt. at IISc Bangalore. She obtained PhD from University of Michigan USA and has been first rank holder throughout her career. Served as lecturer during 1953–61, and Assistant Professor during 1961–70.
She has taught BE and ME level classes in the area of Electromagnetics, Microwaves, Linear Systems & Electronic Circuits. She has published 84 papers and 12 students have received PhD degrees. She has been a convener of several short term courses at IISc Bangalore.
Prof. Chatterjee is Fellow of IERE, Fellow of IETE, Fellow of IE. She has been awarded several awards which include the Ramlal Wadhwa Gold Medal and Meghnath Saha Memorial Award of IETE, Lord Mountbatten Premium and Sir JC Bose Premium of IERE Her two books on Microwave engineering are under publication.
