Abstract
The cutoff-slope and stop-band attenuation of low-pass filters with equiripple pass-band behaviour and with multiple pairs of coincident zeros at a suitable frequency in the stop-band have been investigated. Such a filter is shown to have better magnitude characteristic than that of other similar filters (with multiple pair of coincident zeros in the stop-band) reported recently in the literature.
