Subharmonic and Ultraharmonic Synchronization in a Noisy Environment

Abstract

The present paper offers new approaches for the determination of the entrainment band of an injection synchronized oscillator (ISO) in the subharmonic and ultraharmonic modes in a noisy environment. Experimental data quite in agreement with the theoretical predictions is also presented.

Shome, N R: Was born in Barisal (Now in Bangladesh). He graduated with Honours in Physics in the year 1966 from the University of Calcutta, India and obtained his MSc degree from the University of Burdwan, India in the year 1968. At present he is working as a Teacher Research Fellow in the Radionics Laboratory, the University of Burdwan, on Non-linear Oscillations.

M. Mukhopadhyay

Mukhopadhyay, M: Was born in West Bengal, India. He did his BSc degree with Honours in Physics in the year 1966 and the MSc degree in Physics in the year 1968 from the Calcutta University and the Burdwan University respectively. Presently, he is working as a Teacher Research Fellow in the Radionics Laboratory, the University of Burdwan, on Non-linear Oscillations.
