Abstract
This paper summarizes the activities carried out in the field of Time and Frequency in Indonesia as viewed from its historical background, present status and programmes set up for the future. The instruments and systems used, areal coverage, organizational framework as well as problems faced are also discussed. An International assistance to advise the National Time Emission Centre is of interest.
