Abstract
Present state of time and frequency in Japan is described mainly on distribution of atomic clocks, method of domestic and international time comparison made on a routine basis. Clocks in Japan as well as those in the Far-East have not yet been linked internationally with sufficient accuracy, because the Loran-C chain by which the international comparison are mainly made is isolated from other chains. Present problems on Loran-C method are stated here in detail.
