Abstract

The effect of package parasitics on the locking properties of an injection synchronized solid-state microwave oscillator has been studied thoroughly in this paper. The modulation conservation rate at the output of the oscillator in response to an FM wave has also been determined. Experimental findings have been presented in support of the theoretical results.
