Abstract

A PCM telemetry decommutation system based on CMOS microprocessor 1802 has been designed. This system uses external shift registers and latch buffers for data storage to increase the throughput of the system. The circuit consists of CDP 1802-based microcomputer, counters, monoshots, data latch, D/A converter and a set of sample- and-hold circuits. It requires frame sync, NRZ data and clock pulses for its operation. Counting of word pulses is done by the microprocessor and different words are stored in different sample-and-hold circuits through the latching signals generated at the output port of the microcomputer.
