Abstract
A 4-stage UHF linear power amplifier with a gain of 40 dB and output power of 4 W at 1 dBc in the 520 to 720 MHz frequency band is described. The amplifier fabricated using hybrid MIC techniques has the power-added efficiency of about 16%.
