Abstract

The radiation properties of an Alford loop, corner driven loop, an axial slot and a dipole antenna are compared in this paper. Graphs are plotted for the field pattern factors and the radiated powers of all these antennas for different ratios of the source to the plasma frequencies. It is concluded that the Alford loop antenna is the most efficient antenna for working in the plasma medium.
