Abstract

Employing the dyadic Green's function technique, the radiation fields of a horizontal Hertzian dipole and a half-wave dipole (for an assumed current distribution) on a dielectric-coated conducting plane are determined. The radiation resistances and the directivities of the dipoles are evaluated using numerical methods.
