Abstract
Knowledge of groove fields is essential for precise designing of a right triangular corrugated structure for studying the blazing effect. In part 2 of this paper, we solve the Helmholtz wave equation and determine the power of the groove field. Two special cases are considered.

K.N. Bhowmick
K.N. Bhowmick: Born on 9th of November 1940 at Coochbihar, West Bengal. Recipient of MSc and PhD degrees in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University in 1960 and 1964 respectively. He joined the Department of Applied Mathematics, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in the year 1965. He is presently serving as a Reader in Applied Mathematics. He is associated with Undergraduate Post Graduate and Research students of the said institute.
He has research interest in Theory of Modulation in Electronics, Flow of ground water through porous media, Solid mechanics, Mixed boundary value problems, Dual equations, Antennas and Wave propagation. He has more than thirty publications.
He has been serving All India Radio as an artist in Tabla since 1956.
