Experimental Results of Spread Spectrum Multiple Access Communication System

Abstract

The development of Pseudo Noise (PN) type Spread Spectrum Multiple Access (SSMA) Communication system at Space Applications Centre, ISRO, Ahmedabad, is described. The spread spectrum voice communication experiments conducted at ISRO's Earth Stations at Ahmedabad and Delhi through APPLE, the First Indian Experimental Communication Satellite have been described and test results obtained have been presented.
