Abstract

Complexity of the receiver in a spread spectrum communication system can be considerably reduced by using concatenated codes. This paper describes the design, implementation and performance of spread spectrum systems using 31 × 31 concatenated PN sequences. The receiver has been realized by using analogue and digital matched filter correlators. Their performances have been evaluated experimentally.
