Averaging Algorithm Suitable for Microprocessor Implementation

Abstract

Exact algorithm is developed for computing the average of time signals, suitable for microprocessor implementation. It is reasonably fast for computing the running average. The algorithm is tested on Intel 8085 microprocessor and the results along with the program are presented.
