Abstract

An improved model of the design of a Microprocessor based digital Spectrophotometer as discussed in Part I of the paper “Design of a digital Spectro-photometer” is given. The improved design uses a 12-bit A/D converter for getting results accurate upto third place of decimal. It provides self-test facility, automatic setting of wavelength and sample selection facility. It can also be interfaced with a printer.
