P. C. P. Bhatt
Pramod Chandra P. Bhatt graduated in Electrical Engineering from University of Saugar (Madhya Pradesh) in 1962. He obtained his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Calcutta in 1964 and joined as a Lecturer in 1965 at I.I.T. Kanpur. While on faculty at I.I.T. Kanpur he obtained his doctorate in 1969 in Electrical Engineering and subsequently moved to I.I.T. Delhi as Assistant Professor in Computer Centre. In 1975 he was promoted as Professor of Computer Technology. In the year 1982 he moved to the newly created Computer Science and Engineering Department. He has been serving as Head of the Department since August 1984. His areas of interest broadly cover Computer Architecture, Design Automation, Knowledge based System Design and New Generation Computing. He is also on the editorial review boards of International Journal of Computer Mathematics and International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition.
