Abstract
An algorithm is proposed for generating function dependent test vectors for NOR-NOR PLAs, which can test one or more crosspoint (cp) faults simulataneously in addition to other faults by sensitizing one or more product lines at a time. This technique reduces the number of test vectors by a substantial amount. The conditions for simultaneous testing of product terms are also found out. The generated vectors test all single and multiple stuck-at and cp faults and most of the bridging faults. A technique has been developed for the generation of the vectors with increased probability of detection of bridging faults.
