Analytical Aspects of the Quick Response DPLL

Abstract

Recently a quick-response digital phase locked loop has been proposed by the authors. The investigations studying the transient response, the FM demodulation characteristics and additive Gaussian noise handling capability of that loop have been reported in this paper. Results of real time computer simulation of the system response are incorporated to support the analytical predictions.
