Abstract

In this paper, we propose a neural-based A/D Converter design, named ENEAD. It compares very favorably with other neural ADC designs, as well as Sash ADCs in terms of components used, interconnections, and modularity. It has several features which make VLSI Implementation attractive. An Implementation using only 12 transistors per bit is discussed.
