Abstract
The problem of coupling through a slot in the broadwall between two rectangular waveguides has been investigated and Method of Moments used to find the co-efficients of the field function. Convergence of solution requires inclusion of thousands of waveguide modes in the numerical solution. Number of basis functions less than 10 usually gives less accurate result in the computation of slot admittance. The resolant length has been found to change noticeably with offsets.
