Electromagnetic Analysis of Eccentric Coaxial Cylinders

Abstract

The paper presents method of evaluation of absolute values of equipotential boundaries of eccentric coaxial line using two types of conformal transformation. Cotangent hyperbolic transformation with appropriate normalizing constant transforms the line to a parallel plate configuration. Bilinear transformation expressed in terms of mutually inverse points transforms the same structure to a coaxial configuration. Numerical data on capacitance and charge distribution is presented.
