Interference-Immunity of the Injection-Locked Hybrid Discriminator

Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical investigation on the immunity of the injection-locked hybrid discriminator against co-channel monotone interference. Signal-to-interference induced noise power ratio at the output has been calculated as a function of the input carrier-to-interference power ratio. The analysis has indicated an optimum design criterion of the injection locked hybrid discriminator in order to have maximum interference immunity.
