Microwave Properties of Commercial Petrol over 900 MHz to 9 GHz

Abstract

Microwave complex permittivity of commercial petrol is measured over the frequency range 900 MHz to 9 GHz using coaxial short circuited transmission line method. It is found that the dielectric constant remains constant over the entire frequency range of measurement but the loss factor increase as the frequency increase.
