Burst Signal Synchronization Characteristics of Solid-State Microwave Oscillators

Abstract

The problem of direct synchronization of a Solid-state Microwave (SSMW) oscillator in the face of a burst like input signal has been critically examined. Effect of the intune, the off-tune càrrier and the loaded cavity on the system response have been considered. Two methods have been suggested to improve the tracking response of the oscillator.
