Truck Backer-Upper Control using Dynamic Neural Network

Abstract

A dynamic neural processor (DNP) is used in this paper to solve the problem of backing a trailer truck to the loading dock. It is demonstrated through computer simulations that the DNP could provide the proper steering for backing the truck to the loading zone very quickly compared to a two-layer recurrent neural network.
