On Multiple Interpolation Points of H_∞—Units at Infinity

Abstract

In this correspondence, the problem of strongly stabilizing a plant having relative order greater than one is addressed. This involves a correction to the construction procedure of a unit in H_∞ for interpolating multiple derivatives at infinity. A procedure for handling multiple interpolating points at ∞ is outlined along with a specially constructed numerical example.
