Abstract

We have investigated the ternary compounds Nd_{0. 33}Eu_0.33Gd_0.33Ba₂Cu₃0₇ and Nd_0.33Sm_0.33Gd_0.33Ba₂Cu₃O₇, superconductors melt-processed in a reduced oxygen atmosphere with magneto-optical techniques. Zero field-cooled (ZFC) measurements were done to understand the flux penetration behaviour of this compound. It was found that the critical state is well established in these samples.
